A pop-up store by Kansai Yamamoto will be held from Jan 2 at Isetan Shinjuku (2F). At the event, collaboration socks with Tabio will go on sale.

The socks also appeared in the show “Fashion in Motion: Kansai Yamamoto” held at Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) in London this November. The theme for the socks is “Basara,” which takes after the show. 8 styles are available at 2,625 yen each. Two sizes: 22-24 cm/25-27 cm.

After making their appearance at the pop-up, the socks will be sold at selected Tabio stores including- Omotesando Hills, KITTE and Tokyo Skytree Town Solamachi, and TabioHOMME stores- Kyoto Teramachi, Abeno Harukas Kintetsu solaha men, Tenjin Chikagai and Amu Plaza Kagoshima.

The pop-up at Isetan Shinjuku closes on Jan 14. In 1971, Kansai Yamamoto held a show in London as the first Japanese designer. He marked his return to the fashion world this year, after 42 years, with his show at V&A. The event will pre-sell items from his latest collection as well as collaboration items with Isetan.
