Italian brand “Max Mara” opens its renewed Ginza 3-chome store on Sept 6. The store located on the 1st and 2nd floors of Zoe Ginza building (address: 3-1,Ginza 3-Chome, Chuo-ku, Tokyo) first opened 10 years ago. The store space is 450 square meters, making it the largest store in Japan. Store hours are from 11:30 am to 8 pm.

The interior design was directed by Duccio Grassi Architects, which also handled the renewal of the flagship store in Milan in 2012. With the windows at the front set up into white lattice frames, the inner light escapes and settles onto the street.

The store lines up Max Mara and S Max Mara on the 1st floor and Sportmax and the dress line Max Mara Elegante on the 2nd floor. The Elegante corner can be divided up for a VIP room. For the store limited item, JBag made of ostrich leather (678,300 yen) is in store.

“We created a relaxing space by adding floral scents to our air conditioning. We want customers to feel as if they are staying in a 5-star hotel. We have updated our furniture in line with this concept,” says a PR rep for the brand.
