Exhibit “A REAL UN REAL AGE” by ANREALAGE, held last December at Shibuya Parco, is visiting Nagoya Parco Gallery from Aug 30th to Sept 16th.

On display are “clothes” selected by its designer Kunihiko Morinaga from collection archives; “words” discussed by fashion critic Takeji Hirakawa, Mariko Nishtani of Kyoto Seika University, and others on the topic of ANREALAGE; and “pictures” taken by photographer Yoshiyuki Okuyama. The latest “COLOR” collection that was revealed this March and Okuyama’s photos introduce the present face of the ever-evolving fashion house.

Signature works from the past are also showcased to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the fashion house. From the white “trite and commonplace” shirts that were presented in 2003 to the “butter” one-piece dress co-designed with Keisuke Kanda in 2006, “WIDESHORTSLIMLONG” of 2010, and the “BONE” 2013 SS collection, the selected archives cover the decade long history of ANREALAGE.

On Aug 30th, from 18:00 to 21:00, an opening reception will take place with Morinaga. On Aug 31st from 14:00, Morinaga will hold a talk session.

ANREALAGE’s latest collection “COLOR” made its first public appearance at Isetan Shinjuku from July 24th till the 30th. At present, an exhibit dubbed “A COLOR UN COLOR” is held at the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa until Nov 24th.
